My daughter got married in the summer of 2015 and I gained a nice Son-in-law. I made this box for their wedding guests to put cards in. Robin’s favorite flowers are daffodils & daisies. The daffodils on the side panel were a Craftaid design, and the daisies and everything else was a custom hand drawn & traced design. This was the first major leather project I had done in years. I was very pleased to find that I hadn’t lost the skills. As I was finishing the lacing around the sides, I figure this box will / should outlast me. Maybe the grandkids, assuming they happen, will want to learn leatherwork from an old Craftsman.
